4 Hidden Gems to Explore in New Jersey

The Garden State is home to Atlantic City and Jersey Shore, but what most of us fail to realize is that there is far much more than meets the eye in New Jersey. Our New Jersey group transportation specialists have therefore uncovered some of the state’s best-kept secrets for your enjoyment.

We recommend that you employ the services of our bus rental service New Jersey tourists and residents can rely on during your adventure; drag your friends along and explore some of the least known locations in New Jersey. Our professional and knowledgeable chauffeurs will drive you safely and promptly from location to location, unlocking a whole new world as you simply relax, and enjoy a luxurious ride with your best mates.

Greenwood Gardens

This is a 28-acre garden located in Millburn; the gardens are open between Thursday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Unlike most hidden gems, the Greenwood Gardens are actually not old, having been officially opened in April of 2013. The gardens blend a classical style with contemporary forms of arts and crafts. At the gardens, you will get to enjoy pristine walking paths, Italianate terraces, and marvelous architectural structures such as the three-foot-tall chess pieces made out of limestone.

Haunted Ghost Tour

We know it’s not Halloween yet but if you have a fascination for horror, the supernatural, or spirits, then head on down to Cape May and take part in the haunted ghost tour. Numerous Victorian Houses on the Emlen Physick Estate of 1879 have been said to be occupied by something otherworldly. Enjoy a trolley tour and learn more about the history of this haunted estate and the Victorians’ fascination with the spirit world.

Diggerland

This unique amusement park is located in West Berlin and not a lot of people have heard of it, let alone visited. However, in the park’s defense, it is not your typical amusement park. This is a construction-themed amusement park and is the only one of its kind in the U.S. There are numerous inventive rides; for example, as opposed to having bumper cars, visitors get to drive heavy construction vehicles. We recommend that you take a ride on the Spin Dizzy, which is a 20-ton excavator that was modified to take passengers on a unique ride. In addition to this, there are numerous stunt shows to be enjoyed across the park, but we should warn you, you may never want to go back to a regular amusement park.

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach is located in Cape May Point in the Delaware Bay Township. This public beach is unlike most beaches you will find in Jersey and it’s a mystery why it is not as popular as most. Sunset Beach has an uncanny ability to bring out the most gorgeous of sunsets. Besides this, there are a number of ships laying around, the most notable being the World War 1 USS Atlantus, a concrete ship that lies right on the beach.

Count on us for a comfortable ride to your destination. We are always ready to serve your transportation needs. Count on us!
