Fourth of July Cruise
What better way to spend America's Independence Day than taking a 5-hour cruise gliding down the East River. Spirit Cruise is hosting a 4th of July buffet style dinner on The Spirit Of New Jersey. The boat departs from the Lincoln Harbor, N.J. at 6:00 p.m. and will board at 5:00 p.m. Passengers will enjoy a patriotic decor, games, a dance floor, and incredible music. Later in the night, they will witness spectacular fireworks in the night sky.
The Jersey City Freedom Festival
Celebrate the holiday with a bang. The Jersey City Freedom Festival is one not to miss. The event will be held at Liberty State Park. The day will be filled with amusement rides, live music, kid’s entertainment and a multitude of vendors. There will be food and drinks galore. Giselle will make an appearance to perform The Star-Spangled Banner. To cap off the night, there will be breathtaking fireworks set against the picturesque night sky.
Oceanfest
For one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations around, head to Oceanfest in Long Branch, NJ. It’s actually considered the biggest summer event in New Jersey. This festive street fair is family friendly and an all-day event. There will be crafts, music, and incredible foods from local vendors. The fireworks will start at 9:00 p.m. The sponsors of this affair say the show will go on rain or shine.
Fourth of July Street Fair
Little Falls is holding its Fourth of July celebration at Main Street and Stevens Avenue in Passaic County, NJ. The local streets will be transformed into a huge town block party. There will be lots of entertainment for the kids. They can get their face painted, play around with the clowns or act as assistants to the magicians. You will find antiques and collectibles galore, amusement rides and every kind of food imaginable. Over one hundred twenty-five exhibitors will have their wares on display. The fun starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Come early, thousands are expected to attend.
Fourth of July Amusement
For live music, Memorial Park In Maplewood is the place to be. There will be an opening ceremony at 8:00 a.m. at Ricalton Square. Get there early because activities start at 9:00 a.m. There will be a classic car show not to be missed. Kids will love the Zerbini Family Circus. Circus tickets will include access to the fireworks, the car show, and other fun activities. Enjoy the all-day concert stage, face painting, and the competitive eating contests. Also, carnival games will be available for purchase.
