Sourland Mountain Festival

The Sourland Mountain Festival is scheduled to take place on the 22nd of June at the Hillsborough Golf and Country Club, located along Wertzville Road in Hillsborough Township where you will have some of the most amazing views of the Sourland Mountains. Here you will get to enjoy live musical performances, wildlife, and numerous outdoor activities. You will also have the chance to enjoy the best local food and beverages from local vendors. We recommend that you bring a lawn chair and set up on the beautiful lush lawns for the day. General admission for adults will be going for only $20 per head if you pay in advance and $30 at the gate. Children between the age of 12 and 18 will only pay $10, and those below 12 will get in absolutely free. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Sourland Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting New Jersey’s Sourland Mountain region.

Annual Blueberry Festival

The 36th Blueberry Festival is scheduled to take place between the 22nd and the 23rd of June at the Whitesbog Village along Whites Bogs Road in Browns Mill. Celebrate the birthplace of the blueberry on both days between 10 am and 4 pm. This will be an old-fashioned country fair where you will keep yourself occupied with folk music, dancing, wagon tours, blueberry picking, field games, kids crafts, engine demos, historic houses, vintage tractor, museum tours, pie-eating contests, and much more. Every year, the event is managed by volunteers who have a passion for the little Whitesbog Village and every year they have done this historic community and all attendees proud.

Annual Rock, Ribs, & Ridges Festival

The 10th Rock, Ribs, and Ridges Festival is around the corner, scheduled to take place on the 29th and 30th of June at the Sussex County Fairgrounds along Plains Road in Augusta. The event will kick off at 12 pm and come to a close at 8 pm on both days. This two-day grilling event will feature more than 30 musical headliners including a crowd favorite such as Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, the Outlaws, Artimus Pyle, the Weight Band, and Marshall Tucker Band. There will also be five world-class pitmasters in attendance, serving up the delicious barbeque to attendees all weekend.

Beachstock 2019

Beachstock 2019 may very well be the largest beach party in the United States and it is scheduled to go down on the 29th of June between 7 am and 10 pm at the Beach along Granville Avenue in Margate. Think music, sand, surf, family-friendly activities, and numerous food vendors all in one location for over 12 hours; that’s what Beachstock is all about. Events and activities, you can expect here live band performances, food courts, a beer garden, vendors, kid’s games, treasure hunts, a free surf clinic, paddle boarding, volleyball, a free movie, and much more.

Brew at the Zoo

Have you ever partied with animals? Well, not a lot of people can say they have but here is your chance. Head over to Essex County Turtle Back Zoo on the 29th of June from 6 pm for this experience. Tickets range anywhere between $20 and $115 for this event and its main purpose will be to celebrate the zoo’s 56th Birthday. The Brew at the Zoo event itself is, however, only 7 years old; this year there will be over 100 craft beer options at your disposal from local vendors and brewers. Enjoy a beer or two as you casually interact with some of the animals. Note, only persons over the age of 21 and with proof of I.D will be admitted to this event.

Broadway’s hit musical ‘Jersey Boys’ will be reenacted by its original cast at the Kathedral Event Center in Hammonton on the 13th of September during the Midtown Men’s 10th anniversary tour. Here you can also expect live performances from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, who rose to prominence for their amazing renditions of various iconic hits from the 1950s and 60s. Frankie and the Four Seasons have played more than 850 concerts across the United States, Europe, and Asia and have headlined more than 30 symphonies including the famed National Symphony. Tickets for this event are going for only $24 per head.

If you are a hockey fan, this is one event you definitely don’t want to miss. Head over to the iPlay America Warehouse along Schanck Road on the 30th of June from 1 pm and celebrate with Brian Leetch, Mark Messier, Mike Richter, and Adam Graves who came to be fondly known as the ‘Core Four’.
